Autumn Sweet clematis

Speaking of fragrant clematis I want to try Clematis âÂÂSweet Summer LoveâÂÂ.

Me too, Robert. It would be nice to plant both together and get fragrant flowers summer and fall. But I did see its hardy zone from the article.

Another one for zone 5... mock orange is highly fragrant.

How about Star or Confederate Jasmine? It's evergreen and drought tolerant.

Abelia mosanensis is zone 5 hardy and has fragrant flowers.
I would recommend Summer Sweet also , but it is not drought tolerance. There are some fragrant roses that are cold hardy in zone 5. I am not really into roses, so I can't recommend any specific name, but you can check out the rose forum and get some recommendation there.

I have Korean Spice Viburnum and I like its scent .

Viburnum carlesii (Koreanspice viburnum) is an excellent choice as are its hybrids V. x juddii, V. x burkwoodii and V. x carlcephalum. :)
