Fresh Spring Color and Fragrant

I just came back from a month long trip in China. By fist glance of my backyard, there are two yellow Magnolia trees in full bloom. The good size flowers have a very attractive Spring yellow color in contrast of blue sky. One is Elizabeth and the other, Butterflies. Their fragrance is very clean.

I heard that there were fair amount of rain water during my absence. That helps for my Magnolia and many more of my plants.

Longriver: I was watching Gardening by the yard last weekend, they had a camelia hybridizer on there named
Jim... I thought it was you! He was teaching how to
breed camelias, there was a couple of the flowers that
reminded me of yours. Did you see the show? Can you post
some pictures ofyour Magnolia?

That was not me. He must be my camellia friend.

Honestly I took so many pictures that the image storage is full in my computer. I am not able to down load the photo till my son is coming to rescue me with his better laptop this week end. I will be back later to show you the fragrant and refreshing yellow magnolia.
