No more hydrgen peroxide.
It has a basic PH. Gardenias prefer an acidic PH.
Go to a plant nursery and buy yourself a SYSTEMATIC
rose and flower food and pest killer.
Read the package, you will not need much for your plant.
You simply sprinkle a small amount on top of your soil and water well.
It goes down into your potting soil and the plant actually absorbs it through the roots, the feed and pesticide, and you won't have any more bug problems.
I'm suggesting this because you have a potted plant.
I personally would never put it on the ground. It will kill benefical worms and bugs in your home garden.
BUT for a potted plant, the chemical is contained in the pot, so I would use it.
You use it every 2 months, so it will last a while.
