Please tell me how to grow an Augusta Beauty Gardenia outside. I know they are extremely fragrant and beautiful but that is about all. I live in North Carolina on the Virginia border.

Gardenia Augusta Needs Help

My daughter brought me a Gardenia Augusta, she purchased from Lowes, about 4 ft. tall, had lots of buds, shiny green leaves, beautiful. We went on vacation and when we came back half the leaves were yellow. Afraid I will lose it, don't know what to with it. Can anyone help?
