Hi Y'all,

Can Anyone please tell me if you have spotted these in any nusrsery? A friend will be travelling to Houston over the weekend and will check at "Zone 9 tropicals". ANy other sources please?
Thanks

I bought one Michelia last May. It had a few flowers, so beautiful and fragrant. Then it came the frost and a little snow. The tree was pretty much dead. This spring, some small sprouts came out from the roots. Hopefully, they can grow into a tree.

I bought another two trees and planted them in containers. It takes a lot of care to grow these trees. But the scent and the beauty of the flowers worth the torture. To me, the flowers smell by far the best...

I am in Houston.

This is gonna sound strange, but I want to commend dqzgslb for giving the info on the nursery that sells Michelias. I dont live in TX but whatever enables a person to buy a Michelia, that makes me very happy simply because I know how wonderful this plant is. It is so fragrant....

Thanks for guiding me in the right direction! I got a kaffir lime, lemon grass, and a Michelia alba. Does anyone know about the Nyctanthes? Many nurseries confuse it with night blooming jasmine/cestrum nocturnum, and I dont know the name in Vietnameses.
Any suggestions where I could find this plant?
Thanks again
mrao
