| Hi,
I am looking for 2 small-medium fragrant shrubs to plant in a sunny, well-drained location. They should be fairly compact in habit, not exceed 5 feet (or tolerate being trimmed to stay at that height) and hopefully be pretty or at least interesting in the fall and/or winter. Any ideas? |

| my first thought was daphne. how much sun? they appreciate partial shade down here. they are not unattractive when out of bloom, especially the variegated forms. they have just finished blooming here (daphne odora)and are evergreen. |
