| I received this plant as a gift from a neighbor and she didn't know the name of it, I made a comment to her when
her's bloomed that is was pretty, it gets a purple flower and right before it blooms it gets a horrible smell like a dead animal, her husband got it from someone but he doesn't speak english. I was wondering if it's related to the corpse plant? Here's the picture. ![]() |

| Dragon arum (Dracunculus vulgaris). The inflorescence is rather large, as is the fruit (if you get one) - sorta like a gaudy orange corncob. |

| Yep, related to the corpse flower. kevin these attract flies and carrion betels for pollination. |
