Fragrant Magnolia

This early blooming Magnolia has a wonderful fragrance even the flower is just about to open. The creamy yellow flower is fresh and eye catching. The flowering performance is very consistent. This plant is very hardy, even for NY city area. Therefore many gardeners at colder area should consider this plant as a nice fragrant plant specimen.
'Elizabeth Magnolia' can grow to a tree size plant. But I keep it in a 25 gal container for almost 8 years.I know there are many new yellow magnolia hybrids developed. So far I only have three in my collection.
