I have a carolina jasmine that is now on its third year but it has never bloomed. The foiliage is healthy and
it is quite prolific....Do I need to be fertilizing? The plant was blooming when I bought and planted it a couple of years ago.

is it outside? in the sun?
they will climb to the tops of trees seeking sunlight and that is where you will find the flowers on plants growing in shady areas.
it is hardy to zone 7. if you are colder than that, persistent cold has possibly affected the flower production.

BTW, Carolina Jessamine is not a Jasmine.

Gelsemium sempervirens is the Latin name.

This is important because all parts of this plant are poisonous and Jasmines aren't. I know you didn't ask this but thought you might want to know.

It is generally carefree in sun or partial shade. Does not like to get bone dry though. You might try fertilizing with a high Phosporous fertilizer. (middle number on pkg higher than first)
