Fragrant Plants

impatient for blooms

hi everybody,

i was wondering if there are some fragrant plants that i can start now and have blooming this year? i just purchased a brugmansia and osmanthus, but i've been told they take time to bloom. i have to admit i like pretty instant gratification. is there anything besides herbs that i can have that will get big this year?

Maybe a mandevilla laxa, mine seems to be dying for some odd reason, maybe you'll do better.

Passionflowers and jasmines grow like weeds with enough sun, and there are a number of very fragrant annuals and perennials in the FAQ -- check 'em out, then head to the local garden center!
