I was raised as a child in Wisconsin. One of our neighbors planted an "annual" which they referred to as "Night Blooming Jasmine." I recall the fragrance as wonderful on a warm, sultry evening. As an adult and an avid gardner I have tried to "search" for what this plant could have been. I can't even find a "Night Blooming Jasmine" in a search. Anyone who might have a clue as to what this plant could have been, please help me. I seem to recall the flowers were a purple color? Thank you.
I have grown several night blooming jasmine, and is growing one now. When in bloom they smell wonderful, but strong, and thier flowers are a pale yellow-green and small. Their proper name is Cestrum nocturnum, and are very esay to get. Toby
