wilted sambac jasmine plant

I recently purchased a sambac jasmine plant a couple of weeks ago. Just a few days ago I noticed its looking wilted and the leaves are brittle to the touch. It looks like it needs water but i water it every day and keep it in the sun outside during the day. The poor thing hasn't even bloomed yet. Help! (its about 6" high and 4" wide in a ceramic pot)

Watering every day is TOO much. I fear that you have rotted the roots.

I agree, too much water! If you are pretty certain its going to die, take some cuttings as soon as you can. Dip them in hormone and pot them up in good potting soil. It's a good idea to remove the top of a large coke bottle and use the bottle as a humidity house over your cuttings. Lift the bottle up each day to have new air flow. Then pray!
