Wonderfully scented shrub

Kathy Kendall

My daughter just moved into a new house and has some shrubs out front that have a wonderful smell. They don't grow in my dry area so I don't know what they are. The leaves are oval, about 4 inches long, medium green and edged lightly in cream; they grow on a woody branched shrub about 2 feet tall. The flowers grow in bunches, are similar to honeysuckle in shape and are a pretty pink color. The smell reminds me of fresh ginger - kind of lemony and sweet.

We would appreciate it if anyone knows what this is.
