Balcony Garden - Heliotrope

| I have a balcony that gets good morning sun and can get quite hot in the late afternoon/evening with NW sun.
I would love to have some fragrant flowers to bring that garden smell up to the 4th floor. I purchased heliotrope for the first time last year and fell in love with it instantly. They weren't anything to write home about, I didn't know what to do with them, but they lasted all summer and smelled incredible!
I don't think the little twigs I have left are going to grow this spring, but I am going to purchase more (along with sweetpeas). I would love some tips on how to care for this plant. |

Danz, are you planning on planting in containers? It may sound silly, but in Chicago, many buildings now have roof-top gardens..plants are planted in soil, beds, not pots. Which is it? Toni |
