Hi everyone,

I ordered a gardenia and a jasmine sambac maid of orleans from Hirt's. Today, the plants came in.

The gardenia looks fine, even though it has some yellow leaves. I barerooted it into the Gritty Mix immediately.

The other one, is NOT Jasmine Sambac Maid or Orleans...or ANY sambac that I know of (I have grand duke, belle of india, MOO)....the leaves are VERY long, pointy, flemsy.

I am emailing Hirts to see what they can do about this.
I don't really need a random non-fragrant plant.
It does look very healthy and super super leafy though!

But in the meanwhile, I am not going to keep it in the peat soil to attract fungal gnats...it is going into the Gritty as well (and getting sprayed with neem oil).

But what is this plant??!!! It seems to have tiny flower buds.

Please help ID this plant!
