| x Chitalpa "Pink Dawn" is a plant which intrigues me. It is an intergeneric cross between Catalpa bignonioides and Chilopsis linearis, the dessert willow. It seems that this plant is hardy in z 6 and 7, but dies back where there is snow and ice, to renew itseld in the Spring. Has anyone had experience with this interesting plant?
Is it fragrant in the way of Catalpa? |

| My only experience sniffing got me a light scent, but not as much as straight Catalpa. It is pretty, though! |
