 o
Michelias in the UK? :-(

Hello everyone. Can anyone help me?

Michelia plants seem to have all but disappeared from nurseries in the UK, a few years after they were readily available from the likes of Burncoose and Plantsman.com.

I refer to this thread a few years ago:

http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/load/fragrant/msg0213305914831.html

I am desperatel;y after a Michelia Alba to grow in a small pot in London but I can't seem to find one anywhere. The closest I can get my hands on is a Michelia Champaca plant on ebay being sold by a seller in Malasia! I'm not even sure if legal import restrictions would allow me to purchase that!

If anyone who is in the UK who knows where I could find the Alba can offer some assistance, it would be much appreciated! Or if anyone has successfully managed to propagate it and would generously and very kindly provide a rooted cutting, I would be eternally grateful!

Many thanks in advance!
