| Since this plant is new to most North American gardeners, I'd never smelled one before I purchased one this spring. Despite sitting half-bare rooted in a container, it put out 3 blooms this past week.
Fragrance is very nice, almost jasmine-like; pretty strong for 3 small flowers -- can't wait for next year's performance.
so far it seems to be a pretty tough shrub.
Anyone else growing this one?

| I've got one & it's rock solid hardy. Three winters in the ground and thriving. Scent is lovely and so is the fall colour. Simon |
