jasmine belle of india - soil has snails in them?

I bought couple of jasmine plants yesterday. I think they have been grown/raised in florida that have been shipped to Virginia. The plants are healthy but I see few snails/roly polys in the soil. How do I get rid of them? do they spread to other pots? Thanks

Well, I think the roly poly's (sowbugs) aren't harmful, they eat dead leaf matter, but hmm..I know that there is a product that GardensAlive sells called EscarGo, it's a non toxic bait that you sprinkle where the snails slugs live, they eat it and die. It's organic and is safe for plants.
