Brunfelsia lactea

My Brunfelsia lactea finally bloomed! I bought it back in February of 2011 so for me it hasn't been an easy bloomer. The scent was nice but not as good as B. gigantea IMO. Plus B. lactea's blooms have no scent during the day where as B. gigantea has a sweet perfume scent during the day and a more spicy scent at night (but still perfumey).
B. gigantea bloomed the first year I got it.
So if you've got the room for B. gigantea (because it does get gigantic) I would suggest it over B. lactea.
Another thing I noticed is the spotted cucumber beetles were going to town on my B. lactea blooms. They might hit my B. gigantea once it blooms again but they weren't eating them earlier this month.
