How old does a Wisteria bush have to be before blooming? I planted mine against a garage wall (outside) about 4/5 yrs ago..it's grown 10 times larger, but no flowers..should I be patient? Also, which fertilizer works best? Thanks, Toni

RE: Wisteria Bush?

I put in wisteria (regular W. sinensis) 10 years ago, and mine has bloomed every year since. What variety have you planted? Is it in sun or shade?

It blooms in the spring before the leaves come out, and sometimes gets hit with the last frost, like magnolias.
