I'd say the jasminum sambac maid of orleans and the angelwing, but especially the sambac, nicest smell out of the lot and nice growth habit. Angelwing has a strong smell but not as nice as the sambac.

Ditto on the sambac -- there's a reason it's sold in flower stores nationwide, it's pretty easy, smells great and blooms year round. However, it's not so much a vine as a twining bush, so it may take some time and effort to get it looking nice on an arbor.

When you say pink jasmine, do you mean beesianum or polyanthum?

Angelwing, aka nitidum, is very pretty and will look great on an arbor, more delicate scent than sambac to my nose.

I'd say do a little research, go to a nursery or botanic garden and sniff around.

Malmason, did you consider J Azoricum, it is a quick grower, vining in habitat and blooms thro' the year.
Scent is heavenly!!! I got mine from Logees.
