I will be visiting San Diego next month and want to know if there are good nurseries that you can recommend to visit to buy jasmines, michelias.

Kandhi, in the Michelia FAQs, there are three good nurseries listed at the bottom. They are Walter Andersen's, Pacific Tree Farms, and Mission Hills Nursery.

The only nursery down there that I know carries both Jasmines and Michelias is Aloha Tropicals. They are mainly mail-order and visit by appointment only. I can't vouch for the quality of their plants there, but they do have a good variety of fragrant plants however.

I also did a little searching and Ong Nursery seems to have Michelias and other rare flowering plants. You might want to give them a call though since the website was last updated in 2002.

You could also check out Walmart there for the Maid of Orleans variety (some do carry it), should be around $5 or $6 for a one gallon.

Musaboru, thanks for responding. I will check into these nurseries. If any one has visited any of the listed nureries above let me know on your experience and pricing for micheia. Thanks
