1) Are Daphne odora and Daphne odorata different names for the same plant?
2) If they are different plants, what are the differences?

Evidently they are different plants (see link below)

(1)Daphne cneorum L.

SYNONYM(S) : Daphne odorata Lam., Thymelaea cneorum Scop.

ENGLISH : Garland flower, Garland flower daphne.

(2)Daphne odora Thunb.

SYNONYM(S) : Daphne japonica Thunb., Daphne mazeli Carriere, Daphne odora Thunb. var. mazeli (Carriere) Hemsley, Daphne triflora Lour.

ENGLISH : Fragrant daphne, Winter daphne
