Michelia alba & champaca in UK?

Dear all

Michelia (Magnolia) alba/champaca

I am wondering if anyone has experience of growing these plants in the UK. I am in Devon (zone 9) and was wondering if they could possibly grow outdoors? I grow M.figo, M. yunnanensis and M. doltsopa with no problems

Does anybody know of a source for Michelia alba in the UK?

Regards
Jim
