I would advise that when you bring it in for the winter you give it as much direct sunlight as possible, water it well when soil becomes dry, give it as much fresh air as is practical (without freezing yourself), and keep an eye out for any mites, mealybugs etc. --- that is about as specific as I could be without knowing the name of the plant. Sweet, jasmine will do fine in indirect bright light..Direct sun may burn the leaves. Take out gradually..In winter my jasmines are only watered when top 3" of soil are dry, but in summer, especially if hot, it'll need more water..I hope your pot has drainage and well-draining soil..You want to soak rootball thoroughly then let dry a bit..Fertilize monthly while plant's growing.
