These were large plants in 15 gal pots or larger (not sure).

This gardenia variety is also known as "Aimee Yoshioka" and was developed by Tadaoki Yoshioka in Hawaii. I had one several years ago but killed it through over fertilization. Mr. Yoshioka named it after his daughter Aimee, who died in a plane crash. The man at Upland told me that their gardenias are grafted so they are much hardier and can take more sun than own root gardenias. Did you see the big gardenia tree next to the pond? It is huge, the biggest gardenia I've ever seen. I also stopped by Green Mart today, only 2 ylang ylang vines left with no buds. I picked up a hanging lavender bougainvillea "Dr. David Barry" not fragrant of course but too pretty to pass up.
