My old Osmanthus Fragrans seems to be dying... HELP!

Saljean

I have a two very large (20-25 ft) osmanthus fragrans bush/trees, about 20 years old.

About 10 years ago the other one nearly died after losing nearly all it's leaves over a few weeks. Part of it lived, however, and eventually thrived. Meanwhile, the other one was fine till now, and has suddenly, in the last 6+ weeks, begun to have whole sections (with all their leaves) begin to die off!

I didn't realize it was happening until recently. At first I thought it was just the stress from the beginning of the summer's heat (and it's more heated/sunny exposure since we removed our old rotten patio cover) a year ago.

Do you have any suggestions or insights at all that might help save it ?? I just LOVE it, and am devastated at the poss. of losing it.

Thanks!
