I spread the seeds among 21 little pots, and it's somewhere close to 100% germination! I'm going to have to thin them to one or two maybe per pot.

If any of you are in the Toronto area, I'll be bartering the ones I'm not keeping on Craigslist when they are larger, for either a pot and bottom tray any size OR an unopened (store bought) bag of any type soil. If anyone here wants me to put them on the waiting list early, email me at me@scentednectar.com.
Thanks. :) I'm going to wait a while more before stealing a leaf, but when I do, I'll probably be rubbing it dozens of times a day. Patchouli is weird in that the scent gets stronger with age, so a few leaves will last a long time.
The place I got the seeds from announced they were mistaken in which patchouli this is. It's Pogostemon heyeanus which grows from seed. The other types only grow from cuttings.
Would you happen to have any seeds left. I make soap and i try to be as natural as possible and this would be a great additive instead of "fragrance oil" thanks ;)
