Jasmine polyanthus(Pink flowers)

ANNAMARIA VECCHIO

My Jasmine is growing very "thick", but I can't get it to bloom, it's in its original container-10-1/2 wide and 13-1/2 tall. It's in my backyard, getting full sun 8+hrs a day, I water it at least twice a week, more if weather is warmer(from daytime temps.: 65 to 85+). I fertilize it with a 20-20-20, 1/2 tsp. to 1 gallon of water, every week. Can someone help me figure out my problem?

Thanks in advance,

Annamaria

They bloom around Winter and Spring mainly. I've never noticed it bloom the rest of the year though others have observed otherwise. I also think they need a cold period to induce the buds (...correct me if I'm wrong).

May I suggest you get a 'Pink Showers' Trachelospermum? The blooming season for it is much longer and you might find the scent is better.
