Start Michelia from seeds

| Hello,
Anybody has success in germinating michelia seeds? My champaca is about to produce quite bit of seeds and I would like to have a few more plants.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

| I had four seeds of M. champaca last years. I used only moist perlite for germination, under controlled condition about 23 degrees F. Only one seed was germinated. This seedling is about 5 inches now. |

| Dangha, I picked up a 3 Gal plant of M. champace at San Gabriel Nursery near los angeles today. on sale for $50. nice plant. |
