jasmine blooms die too soon : (

i have a jasmine sambac plant that is doing very well but the blooms fall off about a day after they open - i am not sure if this is the normal lifespan of the bloom or if i am doing something detrimental to the plant - they smell amazing when i come in my room at night and wish they would last longer

Hi bsb that is normal with jasmine sambac. They recommend the grand duke tuscany it's like mini roses. The flower last longer.

Agreed, mine does the same thing. Fortunately, the blooms are staggered a bit, so there are new ones every few days. Use the fallen blooms to make tea. I'm thinking of throwing some in the ice cream maker...
