Does anyone have experience grow this? I just acquired one and am curious to know if the fragrance is similar to that of Cestrum nocturnum (Night Blooming Jasmine) which is very heavy and powerful.

I've never smelled it in person, but I've read that it's less heavy and rank than nocturnum, which to my nose is fine at a distance but pretty rank up close.

Would love to hear other first-nose experiences!

I have experienced both and I opine that parquii has a more pleasant fragrance. nocturnum is perhaps a little more powerful (read overwhelming) but not as pleasant; not the sort of thing you would plant under an open window. I also enjoyed the yellow tint of parquii flowers.
