I have a Michelia alba that I have had for a few years now. I absolutely love it! It is one of my favorite plants.

As a precation, in the winter I have always put it in my garage. But I am wondering if it would be ok to put in the ground.

I live in zone 9b Tampa florida area.

I would rather have it in the ground than a pot but I am not sure of its cold tolerence.

Any help would be appreciated.
