Reseda odorata (Mignonette)

Since we've been on a seed kick lately I thought I'd ask if anyone has tried Reseda odorata (Mignonette) before?
Your thoughts on its famous scent?
I've been curious about its scent for years but have been reluctant to try it since it prefers cool weather and lord knows Oklahoma ain't famous for that. Still I could always try sowing some in early spring/late summer/fall and see if I can get some plants to bloom.

OMG. Robert, you are reading my mind! I just read something about this plant last night and was thinking that I should ask anyone here for information about its scent and where to get the seeds. Thank you so much for posting it.

Is grows in zone 3-11, you can grow it.

OG,

Ha! Looks like we're on the same wavelength. ;)
I might be able to grow it during certain parts of the year.
I believe it takes a couple of months to bloom from seed. I know if it's around in the summer when it's 110-115 during the day and 80+ at night it will be fried and die. :)

Robert, on the same wavelength, isn't this scary! LOL.
I read it that Reseda has Sweet Olive like scent. Another plant I just read that has Sweet olive scent also is Cheiranthus cheiri. Do you have any experiences of growing Cheiranthus?

No, I don't...never heard of it but knowing me I'll look it up! Thanks (or maybe I shouldn't be thanking you? Laugh). I've been eying a plumeria that is supposed to smell like Sweet Olive, Pink Kiss.
So many plants so little room!

Another Plumeria #11? OMG, you are in deeper mud than I am... LOL. Pink kiss, smell like Sweet Olive...I am vulnerable to sweet scents... help, Don't try to drag me down deeper...LOL.
No room?I recall all of us had said no room few months, or even years ago, but we all keep having more plants... The word comes up in my mind is "improvise". When the time comes, we can improvise and squeeze all our treasure inside...
