How to get artificial sun on my wax hoya

I have moved to an East facing apartment and my wax hoya is not blooming as well as when I was facing West.
How can I get artificial sun on the plant and will it help it to bloom as before.

How about a light fixture or growing light that is close to the plant? Do you really notice the reduced light at the new location?

If there isn't a significant amount of light change I really think the plant needs some time to go thought some adjustment period and will perform as well as it did prior to moving.

If possible, can you put it under fluroescent lights, use one 'warm' light (that has red spectrum light) and one 'cool' light (that has good blue spectrum light)? That way it gets the right 'type' of light.

the vita-lite brand of fluorescent tube was recommended to me by a seasoned aquarist years ago for aquatic plants. it is reported to closely simulate the ultraviolet spectrum of natural outdoor lighting. i had good results using them in my aquarium hood. the bulbs/tubes are more expensive compared to other brands of wide and full-spectrum lights.

Here is a link that might be useful: vita-lite info
