Is it completely dead? No chance for revival?

I ordered a belle of India for my parents from logees, when they received it, it was absolutely beautiful . About a month into them having the plant, the leaves were looking sickly. Took pics of them and sent them to logees., they said it was spider mites and took the necessary action of treating it with a soap insecticide as per their saying. Well fast forward two weeks later and my parents tell me that the plant died. I told them to send it to me with a relative that was coming to my house anyways. Attached is the pic. Is there anyway of reviving the plant? I cut on of the branches to see if it was still green inside and it was. What can I do to help it? Right now it's in a cup with mg soil. It's in the sun now, but it gets pretty cool out at night now.
