I like my arabian tea jasmine, it's very prolific and the flowers smell wonderful! :) And, you can use the flowers to make jasmine water.

My fave is j. sambac as well, a close second is Asian jasmine, which isn't botanically a jasmine, it's trachelospermum asiaticum.

If I had to pick a vining jasmine, it'd probably be j. tortuosum rather than the grandiflorum types. Ultimately, each nose has to decide for itself!

I like jasmine molle (jasmine azoricum). The fragrance has hint of gardenia to it. Very vigorous grower and no bug problems indoors. I took this picture this year.

Jim - Obviously , What works for one proboscus may not work
for another proboscus.

These are fascinating results ... that merit further study.

For scent and looks I like Grand Duke of Tuscany. The bloom looks like a small rose and it has the sweetest scent of any of my jasmines.

this one is worth buying, you wont regret. It is very easy maintenance indoors in zone 7 or less. It grows to 6ft every summer and I cut it to 3ft before getting it indoors. It is in 10inch pot.
