I admire Brugmansia for their scented flowers, and night blooming habit.
I have heard that 'Betty Marshall' is a choice variety with a spicy, as opposed to the more typical sweet scent of Brugmansias. Have you grown 'Betty Marshall' and what do you think? How would you describe 'Betty Marshall' s fragrance?
How does 'Betty Marshall' compare with other varieties as to scent, and with other whites as far as performance in general? Are there any particular charateristics that set 'Betty Marshal' apart from say B. suaveolens?
Also, do you find it to be a vigorous variety, or a more shrinking type. Poisonous as they are, Brugmansia and Datura are just about the only things the insects of my garen seem enjoy snacking on.
Thank-you!
Best wishes,
