I am interested in this as well since I'm always having to cut mine back and it's a shame to waste the cuttings.
I tried last year to root a cutting dipped in hormone and placed in my mini greenhouse with a heating pad underneath but it never rooted.
Maybe I should have been more patient.
Found this article online with experiments on various woody cuttings and the aglaia cuttings did not appear to root easily.

I had one root once but I got inpatient and tugged a little to hard. I broke the roots and that was that for the cutting.

Thanks, Mark. Did you use rooting hormone, a dome and bottom heat or what? Approximately how long did it take to root?

I did it in a covered tray with rooting hormone and bottom heat. I want to try again but I am currently inundated with cuttings of hoyas I'm trying to root.
