Pikake Plant

This is my first try at getting information on the internet, although I have also posted this on the Hawian forum.
I bought my wife, what were listed as, two Hawian Pikake plants. Supposed to be beautiful and fragrant, so I thought I was doing something nice for her. However, she has been unable to nourish them. One had died and the other is just hanging in there with little noticeable growth since purchase.
Since the few blooms she got were very fragrant, I am sure she would like to see this survive.
Do any of you have any advice or knowledge of what it would take to help this plant along?
Thanks in advance.

| It's hard to tell what's going wrong without more details -- are they in pots? Did your wife repot them since she got them? How much sun/water do they get? Generally, they need at least 4-6 hours of direct sunlight, and plenty of water when the weather's warm, but they can't get too dry, especially in pots. Tells us more about the conditions they're growing in and what they look like now (dried leaves, brown stems?), and we'll be able to help more. Jim |
