I am growing ylang ylang tree form from seed. My seeds sprouted in 6 weeks. They were very fresh and planted in 90+ plus heat here in So. Calif. I was really surprised because everyone says it takes at least 2 months to germinate.

Most of the info I saw said the vine seeds are some stubborn guys to germ. Now to see how they grow for me....

My 3 seedlings have been outside and have had outstanding weather as far as warmth where I live. Been extremely slow after they put on their first leaves. Slow to break soil, first stem and leaves looked like they were gonna grow fast, but instead have just sat there and done hardly anything.
Obviously patience is the key with em I guess.

I bought 10 seeds and keep them on heat mat. 6 germinated within 5 weeks. If anyone at UK want one. let me know.
