Full StoryWe had two nights recently of low 40's to maybe high 30's. Of all the fragrants I have outdoors, jasmine, osmanthus, aglaia, murraya and bruns, none were damaged except the bruns, and not all of them. The one damaged a lot was B nitida. I just can't figure it out.
One was damaged not at all. The nitida about 10 inches away had almost all the newer leaves bleached out as if sunscorched, but it wasn't sun. And a tender new shoot from the bottom undamaged.
What has been your experience with Brun susceptibility to cold?
