Should I mix my gardenias in with my other plants?

We all know that no matter how hard we try, and how much we treat gardenias with pestisides, seems like spidermites appear out of nowhere on these plants more than any other houseplant we know right?

Well, I need advice please.

I want to keep my sun room pest free this winter as much as I can. I have many citrus trees and other plants that seem to stay pest free unless I bring a host plant home from a nursery that this year I do not plan on doing.

But, here is my dilema. Should I put my pest free as of now, Gardenias, in the same plant room as all my others, since this is the only sunny room I have? Am I inviting trouble for my other plans? Or, should I put them in a seperate room with grow lights over them? Should I take a chance and hope they don't break out with mites, since they are spidermite magnets, and grow them in the same plant room? I am so not sure of what to do. What would my fellow friends do? Please let me know asap since I am bringing them indoors with a few days.

Thanks so much to everyone!!!!

Mike
