| First, is the plant indoors in a pot or outside in the ground? How much sun is it getting? What kind of soil/potting mix is it in? Cymbidiums sometimes get brown spots from water staying on the leaves too long, particularly in cold weather, but brown leaf tips are usually the sign of too little water or too much fertilizer.
