This summer I bought a Desmos chinensis (dwarf ylang ylang) on Ebay. I live in Maryland and plan on keeping it in a pot outside in the summer and indoors in my sunporch in the winter. The leaves have a sticky substance on them. Can anyone tell me what that is?
On another note, I was hoping for a plant with the traditional scent of ylang but have come to learn that this plant's flower will not be the the same scent. Does anyone know of a true dwarf of canaga odorata and where I could purchase one?
