How to propagate Sweet Almond Verbena

Dear all,

Can anyone please explain how to propagate Sweet Almond Verbena? Is there any particular successful method? I am used to propagate roses but never done anything else. I love the fragrance of SAV and I would like to have more in my yard. Please advise.

Thank you,

Root it just like you would a rose. This roots VERY easily! And quickly! And then grows and starts blooming in a hurry! Lemon verbena does the same thing, which makes sense since they are related.

When you say propagate just like a rose, do you mean in root hormone and a small 4" pot or trying the jar method? I have this lovely plant and would like to start cuttings for friends.

This rooted so easily for me that I am sure that any method would work. I used rooting hormone and stuck them under the mister. But a small pot sealed in a bag would work the same way.
