psoralia pinata

I have several of these lovely plants, some of which are yellowing and dying from the truck out. Is this a normal process? Others are luxurantly green.

I was told by a landscaper that they only live 2 years, then reseed. Is this true?

RE: psoralia pinata

According to some quick googling, Psoralea pinnata (correct spelling) tends to lose its lower branches over time, becoming more tree-like. Without more information from you, however, we really cannot help determine what else might be wrong with your plants.

The landscaper was wrong that these woody, evergreen shrubs/trees only live for two years.
