Disease on my Crape Jasmine 'Flora Pleno'

During the summer the month of July was unusually hot 95 plus degrees without rain. My plant had been re-potted in a medium soil with good drainage and topped with basic fertilizer. In the beginning it was doing fantastic adding new growth, flower buds etc and then a very rainy August hit.
Suddenly my Jasmine developed yellow leaves with black spots looking very much like a canker disease and now there is rust on the undersides of the leaves. I brought the plant inside, it's dropped so much of it's foliage and I've let it dry somewhat.
I've been searching the web and to no avail not a whole lot of info on this type of problem due to most Jasmines being so hardy and resistant to diseases. I would appreciate any help on this before I go and pitch the plant I'd like to see if I can bring it back to life.
Thanks to this forum I'm sure someone out there can give me some advice!
