Nobody growing hardy gardenias?

OK so Kleims and Chuck Hayes are old news and most people have not had success in zone 6 despite the nursery hype. So let's turn the page and discuss Frostproof and Diamond's Fragrant Delight. These are supposed to be the hardiest to date. I have a Frostproof planted out last spring which has made nice growth and will endure it's first winter soon. It's against a south facing stone wall and I plan to mulch lightly and lean an old window against the wall to protect and warm slightly. Yesterday I bought a Diamond's, which will winter in a pot in an unheated sunroom. Surprised by it's HUGE leaves! I walked right by it in the greenhouse the first time! Anyone have any success (or failures) with either of these?

Hines collapsed, supposedly due to gross mismanagement so if you are interested in the Frostproof buy it while you can.

Not sure I understand your post. What is Hines? I already have "Frostproof" in my garden against the wall.
